Personally: They can be tasteful but often arent.
On my GTA 5 character I have a butterfly moth as a full back piece. I could consider getting them but only as a small piece on my leg or something as it’s way to edgy for a full piece.
Same for most other pieces.

Imo the only people who look good with tats are people who looked good anyways.
