    So the answer is very clear, when laws/agreements/contracts/etc. no longer have an effect at all, usually authority becomes solely defined by force and force alone.

    I fear it’s only a matter of time before a civil war breaks out.

      There will never be a civil war. Americans are too lazy, selfish, and stupid to actively rise up. You’ll get some groups and people trying to rebel, but the masses will just see them as disruptive to their ‘comfortable’ lives. Ultimately, for all of America’s ego and pride, the people are sheep.
