So i dont really have experience with music, ive tried piano and the recorder in the 5th grade but i could never really figure it out. I want to try again but i realized i dont like mouth perices due to fluid build up and having to clean it everyday. I know there is the triangle but i feel like its limited, but i may be wrong.
My goal is to someday do a cover song using a instrument? What would you advise or suggest and why so? It would help if i could start for cheap.
I thought that Ukulele was a pretty nice way to learn the foundations of string instruments
I picked up uke super fast, much easier than guitar since it’s only got 4 strings and they’re often nylon or whatever and not metal. Not great at it, takes a while to freestyle, but the basic chords are simple, and there’s a few channels on YouTube that put out four chord songs. Also fairly cheap, I started on a $50 one that wasn’t great but passable, and upgraded later to Enya for like $130 and that works just fine
Much easier to pick up than a piano, for sure. Pianos are very heavy.
Ukuleles has that weird tiny low string, it’s like a crocked toe or something.
On a more practical not, pun intended, why not some type of guitar? It’s a much bigger family of musical instruments and once you know one…
