I think part of the reason why Poles are saying this is because Ukraine had annexed land from Poland before. Polish Sci Fi author Stanislav Lem for instance was born in the then Polish city of Lwow which is now called Lviv in Ukraine. There’s some very bad blood between them orchestrated in part by both the Nazis and the Soviet Union so I can understand why Polish people wouldn’t want to stand up for Ukraine.
I got an idea. Russia can stop invading neighbours and return the land to Ukraine. Then we can talk peace.
Oh wait, sorry, this is .ml.
They can, but they won’t. So no peace forever then?
I don’t care how smart poles (or any IoT solution) become. Robots should not have any say in human affaires.
Germans dehumanizing again
Someone pls invade them
An increasing number of Poles are wrong
An online only survey of a 1000 people is literally worthless.
But yes, there’s slowly rising sentiment in Poland that we want some of the Ukrainian in Poland to leave, as there’s “just too many of them”.
Do they not remember how that worked out when we tried letting Germany have them in ww2?
American liberals literally only know one historical touch stone to reference, so everything is exactly analogous to world war two for ever
So what’s a better parallel?
I wonder how they’d feel about ceding the Suwalki Gap for a promise of peace.
