    That’s a great point, instead of bombing Donbas Zelensky should have followed through on his campaign promises to end the war with them instead of escalating it. You do realize that Ukraine attacked a region that seceded from it because of a Nazi-style putsch backed by western imperialists?

    You’re not actually responding to anything I’ve said here.

    When the shoe is on the other foot refers to a situation which Europeans cannot imagine, one without a USA able to project enough power to permit them political impunity - which is what you are describing, with scarcely even a veneer of faux moral outrage. Europe currently gets to act as a larger than life diplomatic and financial entity.

    That’s not what ‘the shoe is on the other foot’ means. This is pure projection as only Russia was trying to project military power here.

    You’re going to need to do something other than cycle through the same Atlantic Council bullet points to phase me, Kyle.

    These are basic facts about the reality of the conflict: 1. Russia started it. 2. It is illegal. 3. Putin can end it at any time. 4. It is progressing an an unsustainable pace for Russia. 5. Russia is now importing oil from other nations due to Ukrainian strikes on refineries.

      This is actually what you are doing with this statement. Congratulations on giving up immediately when the Maidan was brought up. I expect nothing less.

      Yes it does, you misunderstood me and then forgot what the subjecy of conversation was due to the strain of being a little pedant. We were originally discussing the question of whether Britain feels the need to engage in diplomatic communications, which are normal at many stages of a war.

      You have utterly failed to respond to anything I said and begun patting yourself on the back. I will not offer you another chance to speak to me. It is evident that you are mentally feeble, and incapable of engaging in good faith. For us to have a sincere conversation, I would need to spend many hours educating you not only on basic facts about the world (there was a war on Donbas for over ten years before “Russia started it”), but about the very basics of conversation and logic, such as what it is appropriate to correct others on.

      It is quite likely that you will never mature to the level required to discuss topics of this severity, which is unfortunate, as the opportunity has come to a close with me, and will soon come to a close with the Kremlin. Goodbye.
