You’re absolutely right. It’s not dumb because of that. It’s a dumb take because obviously migration can be weaponised, it’s being done all over the world and has nothing to do with how racist a country is. Is there problems with racism in Europe? Sure. Is it worse than anywhere else? Hardly.

So you’re either very naive, pro-russian, or trolling. I hope it’s the first.

Lmao I still didn’t hear any arguments why my take is "dumb“. It follows a pretty simple premise -> conclusion structure. But instead of challenging my premise to invalidate my conclusion you just keep calling me dumb or pro-Russian or a troll or whatever.

          Premise: Moon is cheese coloured.

Conclusion: Moon is made of cheese.

You neglected to account for Russia (directly in some cases here in the UK, for example) funding and lobbying via third parties for xenophobic right wing bigotry.

This is public knowledge, with reporting covering at least the edges of the schemes. A couple of UKIP ex-MEPs were recently in court for taking Russian brown envelopes to say what they were told in statements to the European Parliament. One of those responsible fully admitted it and pleaded guilty IIRC.

That’s but one example that’s fresh in my mind, but we in the UK also know that Russian involvement in Brexit was essential to it actually happening. This was both reported on by mass media, and warned about by UK intelligence services, but various elements of the Conservative government of the time had vested interests in pushing it through.

This is just the UK. I highly doubt Russian influence is any less active on the continent. The myriad provocative events in France, as another example, have been traced to third parties recruited and employed by Russian agents.

All of this is amplified by the US’ overtly fascist diplomatic stance, Trump and his cohort of cocksuckers attempting to compensate for their self loathing, and the oligarchical techbros egging on the far right at every available opportunity.

TL;DR The dumb take no-one wants to hear merely demonstrates your ignorance of the reality of the state of global geopolitics

I never denied Russian interference. All I said is that migration could only weaponised because Europeans are racist and hate that brown people want to come to Europe.

That Russia is also involved in making Nazi parties in Europe big is another issue that fuels the first. But if centrist politicians would have actually tried to combat the "migration crisis“ narrative instead of parroting it hoping to win back votes things might have gone differently.

But instead we have Nazi parties and former centrist parties turned right wing all over Europe cucking either for Putin and/or Trump or trying to differentiate themselves by being "moderate“ which is just doing racist and pro-corporate liberal politics.

As it is, most voters (not people) and most parties in European parliaments are defacto right wing. This isn’t something to argue about, that’s just statistics.

You can reasonably make the same claim of absolutely any group of people though. To single Europe out as racist makes no sense. There are racists everywhere, on every continent, in every country, in every city, town, and village.

What’s suddenly making them a problem is they’re all being encouraged from every angle, above board and below, because it serves the 1%s purposes.

By attempting to lay the blame at the feet of “Europe” you’re simply playing into their hands.

I’m not singling anyone out. This is an article about Europeans and I’m pointing out that they’re racist because it’s about them and not about anyone else.

I agree with you that it’s very human to be racist and it’s not something special about Europe. But that doesn’t make it right and we have been better than that in the past.
