I am a cook that normally uses a lot of spices in cooking, but when I make hash browns I only salt them, adding pepper on the rare occasion.

If you do season them, what seasonings do you use? And do you add it before, during, or after cooking?

    Montreal steak spice. Had a friend do that once years ago and never looked back.
