As a citizen of the United States, it is oh so tiring that everyone has given up on taking this disease seriously. We just keep finding out more and more bad bad not good stuff, and everyone keeps acting like it’s over and it’s no big deal and why would you wear a mask anymore because “what are you, some kind of pussy?”

Same problem in Canada, it’s a silent pandemic that everybody pretends isn’t happening.

I’m assuming fused brain cells don’t make your brain bigger and therefore smarter then

      I think that’s a pretty safe assumption.

I’m no neuroscientist, but that sounds… mega not good.

A few other studies show some more crazy things covid can do.

      • “Evidence for biological age acceleration and telomere shortening in COVID-19 survivors”
      • “In addition to induce DNA damage, SARS-CoV-2 inhibits its repair”
      • “SARS-CoV-2, the virus causing COVID-19, can alter genome structure of our cells…This particular finding is quite unique and has not been seen in other coronaviruses before.”
      • “Direct research on the hearts of COVID-19 patients who have died from the disease has revealed they sustained DNA damage in a way completely unlike how influenza affects the body.”
      • Our cell’s genes are rewired in MILD COVID.

Wonder what other wonderful things we’re going to discover about covid in the near future.

I guess that’s one low-level explication for “brain fog”
