I finally installed my two panels, plugged them in and they started producing right away.

250,- EUR for the whole 500W setup, no battery.

It’s really more of a hobby project but it feels great. I opted for the modern thin flexible panels and they are super easy to install.

    Nice, enjoy the free electricity during the day. Have you already started adjusting your habits like putting the washing machine on a timer to run it when there is a lot of sun?

      I don’t think I will. There’s always power draw in my household during the day and the setup is too small to justify behavioural changes.
