Long story short is : don’t bother.
The added wrap doesn’t add anything worthy taste-wise and is additional unnecessary calories honestly.
Even glazing them didn’t cancel the blandness of the wrap.

Next time I’m back to the usual Kefta skewers that are proven to be absolutely delicious.
I tried a middle-eastern filling which was delicious alone;

Honestly the best part was the accompanying sumac tomato salad

And the homemade flat bread

Though for next time I need to find a version of flat bread more buttery and layer-y if that makes sense.

Wait so the idea is you get a load of burnt bread on your skewer with what you’re actually cooking?
I worry for the future of cuisine
Yeah they advertise the burn bits as flavourful… I feel like I needed to test the thing and make my opinion of it. This is absolutely unrelated to any « cuisine » : this is social media…
I don’t, there’s loads of great culinary content out there. I wouldn’t look for it on Instagram though. And there have always been people that vastly overestimate their skills, the only thing new is the stage they’ve been given. This is the bored parent sitting at home, trying to invent new food ideas for their kids, but with massive reach. Ignore, and nothing of value will be lost.
