      That’s good and not. The good thing is they found it, but the bad thing is that the autopilot still needs some work.

      It’s not really an autopilot if it crashes after pilot ejects.

        I’m assuming the pilot didn’t eject from a perfectly good aircraft, so we can’t necessarily blame the autopilot.

          They don’t, but the autopilot could use some tweaks. Like turning on a transponder after an ejection while on a training run.

            It’s surprising they didn’t know exactly where it was at all times. I’d assume it already had GPS transmitter or something on? Maybe they don’t, for stealth. But wouldn’t the FAA know where it is?

    “please contact the marines”… How does that work? Does every U.S. citizen have a “call the marines” card in order one of you finds oil in a country with a weaker military spots some country that urgently needs some democracy?
