For those who wanted a little more detail: yes, the reason I'm handing off moderation is because mastodon.Art has silenced ArtiChat until I do. And I didn't think so yesterday, but I've been convinced that it's chiefly because of this post: https://artisan.chat/@fediblock/111069593531974003 mArt was credibly accused of abusing the report system with boilerplate reports and encouraging others to copy-paste them. To give them an exemption for something I knew they did would have been dishonest, and I stand by that post.

This is my best summary of this situation, as I understood it as someone from the outside looking in.

However mastodon.art is firing back that this is all due to low-key bigotry by the admin of artisan.chat inside secret discord channels, which has been going on for a while. Blogposts linked with accusations against each other.

    Which is a shame, because the vast majority of Western artists in the Fediverse post exclusively there. If it weren’t for the administrator banning entire instances over the most minor offenses.
