    Yay! These things are absolutely massive since they don’t need to fit under bridges. I wonder how many mega watts these ones are. The largest ones are like 16MW each.

      According to their website 12 turbines generating a total of 132MW => 11MW each

      So not the largest available but then again that’s likely better for cost

        Still pretty amazing. Means each turbine alone will power around 10k homes.

        whats the repercussions of this footprint wise? According to google a 2Mw turbine requires 0.006 km², so a 0.33Gwc of capacity per km². i wonder also how long does a windmill work per day, when averaged yearly …
