Nearly half of the air-to-ground munitions that Israel has used in Gaza in its war with Hamas since October 7 have been unguided, otherwise known as “dumb bombs,” according to a new US intelligence assessment.

    This is just more evidence in the “Don’t take Israel’s claims of being cautious seriously” box.

    For reference, in Afghanistan in the later years, upwards of 95% of US munitions dropped were precision weapons, not ‘dumb’ unguided weaponry - and we still struggled with constant civilian casualties.
