Resumen: El presente trabajo analiza los resultados de una investigaci�n arqueol�gica del sitio Ant�kura de Bah�a Coique, en el sur de Chile, que alberga el �nico calendario solar l�tico documentado hasta ahora en el territorio mapuche. La dataci�n por termoluminiscencia (TL) de fragmentos de cer�mica proporciona una fecha de ocupaci�n entre 1210 y 1525 DC. A trav�s del estudio de sus funciones calend�ricas y ceremoniales discutimos la antig�edad de los patrones de organizaci�n espaciotemporal vigentes en la cultura mapuche, configurados a partir de principios comunes entre las culturas del espacio andino central. ENGLISH: Antükura: A 13th Century Solar Calendar in Mapuche Territory, Chile. Abstract: This paper analyzes the results of an archaeological investigation of the Antükura site at Bahía Coique, in southern Chile, which hosts the only lithic solar calendar documented till now in Mapuche territory. Thermoluminescence (TL) dating of ceramic fragments provides a date of occupation between AD 1210 and 1525. Through the study of its calendrical and ceremonial functions, we discuss the antiquity of the current patterns of spatiotemporal organization in Mapuche culture, configured from common principles among the cultures of the central Andean region.
