I think you misunderstood. Hamas disarming isn’t the sticking point here; the fact that it’s a temporary ceasefire is. Israel wanted Hamas to disarm for a month and a half ceasefire.

It’s very clear who can push for ceasefire and who is responsible for the killing of this prisoner alongside the 60000+ killed and 100s thousands injured and millions displaced.
