I’m normally a bit more of a hard scifi reader with the likes of Bobiverse and Expanse (and Andy Weir/Thaichovsky/IanMBanks/Herbert etc) but I really enjoyed this humerous take on a rogue cyborg.
Is there anything out there in this vane I should look into?
If you haven‘t, read „the long earth“ from terry pratchett. Absolutely brilliant.
Just be aware that if you continue the series Baxter’s voice becomes the primary one as Pratchett declined and then passed.
Normally that wouldn’t be a problem (if you’re a fan of the Xeelee books anyways) but a certain relevant to the discussion character gets more and more sidelined so Baxter can indulge in his quite boring Messiah figure.
