Note to self: start washing hands after pissing in 2024
Definitely up there with Michael Ironside as Sam Fisher for me as irreplaceable performances in videogames.
It’s the last game I keep my PS4 for. Once it’s available on PC, I’ll be selling it.
In Germany this is common as well at the grocery store. However I did this in France once at a Lidl, and they couldn’t scan the individual bottles, so in the EU it may vary country to country
Played a few missions tonight. Solid 1.0 release. The captain is realty a nice addition.
I mistook the actor in the thumbnail for someone else. My mistake. As a fan of B99, still very sad to see.
Hoping this will eventually work on SteamOS – even on low.
Apparently it’s broken SKSE, which is required for many many free mods.
Aside from R* Social Club being finiky if you’re offline, GTAV and RDR2 didn’t flaunt with the line between SP and MP, in my experience. Each felt separate and optional to the other.
XBOX 1NE Series X mark II
I wasn’t really looking for a replacement, just wanted to break my reddit addiction which was hampering my productivity. Lemmy isn’t a replacement in the sense, but a nice change and something new to try.
Does it still get OS updates?
What was groundbreaking was the character and world building. Joel and Ellie feel like real people, with interesting backstories and relatable emotions. In the PS3 era, it felt ahead of its time.
Opposing Forces for HL1 is amazing as well. Worth grabbing.
Me too, and I don’t recall much other competition. Forza Motorsport had promise, but definitely needed another 6mo to cook
Is the demo still available or was it just from Next Fest? I couldn’t find it on the store page.
Edit: The demo is nolonger available – The SteamDB page is here: https://steamdb.info/app/2357010/
Trying to force the install with steam://install/2357010/ returns a “No Licenses” failure.
Disappointed, but hope the game does well. It looks really interesting.
I don’t understand – wouldn’t it be better to have an extra hour of daylight in the evening through winter? For me, the most depressing thing about the clocks falling back is that the sun is setting an hour earlier, not that it’s rising an hour earlier.
I picked it up last Christmas, and certainly got my money’s worth, as I can get easily get lost in these types of games for hours at a time, and I was hard up for an Animal Crossing-type experience.
Not regretting my purchase, but certainly disappointing to hear that they aren’t trying to get as many people into it as possible. Despite not regretting my purchase, it does feel like it was designed to be FTP.
Yeah I’m also surprised this is blowing up. If a developer says before launch that there are optimisation issues, reading between the lines you can assume they’re going to be very severe.
Still it could have helped if they gave some benchmarking examples to further set expectations.
I don’t think they can get past the engine limitations needed.
I still enjoyed playing through it, but Creation engine just can’t handle such a grand scope in a manner gamers expect to play these days.
