It’s quite exciting, I have been to clubs imwhere nmthere are number of pros. You get to see what you like and choose along with music, I never drink alcohol so that never affects my judgement, I can vary my tastes and have fun. Its exciting because it’s forbidden kind of thing. Also I don’t like to look up on website and contact them for services, it’s takes away excitement for me somehow. What I am looking for is good service from start to finish not just main thing.

Okay I agree, so let’s start from Linux related any post, tell them if somebody asks a problem don’t tell them just install mint , or how one is crazy because they are facing the problems in Linux or if you are not using Linux what idiot are you. I stopped participating because

So is Aurora Store replacement for play store only? What about Security like android security which is core for vägning apps? I do want to get rid of Google things but email is essential and in dont want paltry GBs subs in have lit of emails. I am all for foss infact any utility which I search on play store I always try foss alternative but Gmail and maps are 1. Too good 2. Too much convenient 3. Highly accessible (e.g. with Google maps I can get local commute options which I highly dependent upon )

It would be enticing even with that price for some, IF ( THIS IS BIG IF) they could use Google apps. It’s quite useless without Google’s android, and in Western world you can’t use it for banki g purposes due to lack of security

I use same solution as you having tried emby and sonarr etc. the biggest problem got my family and me was searching what to watch and adding it rrr services, we wanted to have netflix but quite instant, not just to watch ( as you might have to wait a while be at 5 or 10 mins on torrent) but also browse, there is so much to watch what should I download, so streamio helped me there, now how to get there media, well debrid services gave us instant access, so it was quite a easy solution.

On lemmybyes Linux is tech no ? Checknit out in any Lemmy community if you say Linux is anything but superior its a NO NO

I am.looking for more people who does not haate you because you don’t use Linux on Lemmy. Even the community where one can say Linux is not usable for everyday, till it stands on cruches of terminal to do anything and don’t have to get multiple down votes

how about using winword ? and excel. I know there exists alterntives on linux, but I have seen that open office wrekcs havoc on document formatting. is there a if not as good as , but next to good word editor for linux and is it out of box ?

Serious question , my laptop is getting old. 7-8, years now I don’t want to put money in tech for w new one. I want to use it with Linux , as I just use for very Norma stuff and Zero gaming. My use cases will be use of office, use if browsers, simple image editors, pdf reader and manipulation, copying images from to and from HDD , copying media to HDD etc. Connecting iPhone, android for file uploading download etc.

I don’t want hassle of

1. Find a reaposiroty, install an extra ackages except for softwares
2. Give any command viq terminal. 3.find any dependency for ANYTHING
3. Use it as regular person

What Linux will just work? I mean simple install and start using.

I totally agree with this point that, Lemmy needs to be accessible easily, I started using it and find it useful because of boost app. Otherwise it’s very hard to understand and still is what is Lemmy.world what is lemmy.ml etc. And how to make them combined.

Let’s not forget to comment this on I needed account , I tried to sign-up with lublnfrom boost didn’t work. I had to Google sign-up for Lemmy.world which takes me to special form , which has disable login with disposable email id’s. All in all TOOOOOOOOOOOO difficult process for common users. Doing this process I am still not sure if I comment on Lemmy.whatever subs.

Finding community and joining it, I still have no idea. It’s all too complicated.

1. What is a different Lemmy’s means
2. Simplifying sign-up process and make it streamlined
3. Make easier to use Lemmy

These would be my suggestion as Lemmy stands now.
