It is great! But I wouldn’t skip backups well for safety. And version control is a bonus IMHO

BTW, There was some edge Cases and reports of lost information using the live sync DB

If you would like to backup many files, syncthing paired with hetzner box, 1TB for 4$.

If you want free solution, just sync/backup Obsidian, there’s Obsidian-git https://github.com/denolehov/obsidian-git
