I have 20 years programming experience and C# is one of my favorite languages. It feels so expressive and doesn’t get in your way nearly as much as Java does. I feel like I’m writing the code I want to write instead of writing the code someone from 30 years ago with a fetish for boilerplate wanted me to write.

There is no requirement to ever go public, in the US anyway. I work for a multi-billion dollar company that’s entirely privately held. It just tends to happen because it’s the best way for the equity holders to convert their ownership into cash. It can be hard to sell a whole company because that requires someone to go all in to buy it and they must accept all the risk of maintaining its value. But you can go public and get tons of investment money without having to sell.

I set up LastPass for my parents but they refuse to use it. My mom got locked out of her Facebook account and can’t regain access because she doesn’t know the password, doesn’t know the email it was registered with, and her phone died so she can’t prove any prior access. Too bad so sad. Still won’t use LastPass.

And yet my android phone is able to detect what song is playing 24x7 without being a noticeable drain on the battery or using extra data. Doesn’t seem far fetched to be able to do keyword spotting under the same constraints.

Maybe it’ll be good, maybe it won’t. But after the 400+ hours I spent in fo4, I’m willing to commit to another hour to see if the first episode is any good. I’ve spent longer than that hunting for literal trash in-game. :)

If you’re a fallout fan, you’re already on board. Our viewership is a given, and is theirs to lose. But for people who aren’t big fans, having big names attached shows it’s serious business. It’s meant to convince people on the fence that it’s worth an initial watch since there’s money and names behind it so maybe it’s not just “some dumb low budget video game shit.”

Don’t sell them short; incel lifestyle is about so much more than (no) sex. I’d challenge you to find any incel posts that exhibit empathy or even a reasonable understanding of human interaction.

They’re using the threat of violence, and sometimes using violence, to push their agenda of Israeli expansion into Palestinian territory.

It made you feel something. Now sit there quietly and think about why that is. What are you getting frustrated with? Why is it bothering you? Unfounded rage is trying to tell you something about yourself. There’s a reason, but you have to be able to be honest with yourself to figure out what it is. Once you can begin to understand it, you can begin to find ways to manage it.
