I just read that the Indian government told it’s citizens to leave Pakistan if they’re there. Isn’t India a close partner to China? Would India see this in a negative light?

Blackrock owns the most shares too 🤡

Particularly as the systems get more and more sophisticated at hypnotizing

It’s a logical conclusion from quack, imo. It’s the second thing that came to my mind after the obvious ‘oh duh cause he’s Russias agent’

Totally. The idea being that you’ll just take whatever bullshit in the meantime because you get to vote for the controlled opposition party every 4 years.
Party of the rich vs party of the wealthy

I wonder which US state most closely resembles this. Probably in the NE

Thank you for this

I’d like to take the part of the baby churning plan where a homemaker is part of each household. Like, subtract the misogyny where it’s automatically assumed it would be the woman but households with children take a lot of work.
Ad hominem attack - “this term refers to a rhetorical strategy where the speaker attacks the character, motive, or some other attribute of the person making an argument rather than the substance of the argument itself”

F zero gx specifically is the goat

Yeah I read somewhere that, in Russian culture, the more absurd the cover up story the more insulting it is meant to be for the victim.
Like if someone “shot themselves 3 times in the back of the head then fell out of a window”. Maybe Epstein fits into that too

One of lessons of the Bible (from what I gather anyway) is that all humans are corrupt-able and will err. Therefore, all organizations that wield any power at all are subject to human corruption. Indeed, this is how we think of organizations in a secular light.
If you’re looking for the religious teachings or church organizations that are free from the sins they denounce, you won’t find them, because human beings cannot keep themselves from temptation indefinitely.
it’s better than a poke in the eye.
Idk why but this comment made me want to watch something with witty British humor and endearing characters
Anyone know the term for what was described in the article as “people don’t know what’s real anymore” ?
I know the subject has long been prophesized by tech enthusiasts as the inevitable result of competing echo chambers but seeing it happen in front of our eyes hits different.
The material wealth is cool and all, but theres a shame and guilt that comes with being complicit in certain atrocities as well as the denial of material wealth to the citizens of many of the countries which we economically colonize.
And for an increasing number of people, the material wealth part is fading. Then there’s the illusion of democratic participation to which more people are beginning to become cognizant of. Oh boy.

but I doubt it’s an entirely ignorant decision coming from a company known to be good at manipulating it’s users.
Damn good point! As a counter, corporate leadership is often surrounded by yes men and insulated from the masses. The meta verse and apples AR flop cost them a lot of money as a result. (Not sure if fb totally gave up on meta tbh)

Sex researchers Baumeister and Tice wrote about sexual economics.
“A heterosexual community can be analyzed as a marketplace in which men seek to acquire sex from women by offering other resources in exchange.”
From an evolutionary standpoint it makes sense that women wouldn’t want a partner that can’t provide security for the couple when the woman would be vulnerable if pregnant/nursing.
Young men in particular have fewer resources of value to offer than at any time in most people’s lives. To that point, it’s not like young women are dating any better, so even if they are willing to be the sole provider, most are unable to do so.
With the traditional partnership which historically provided companionship out of the question, men are left yearning for female companionship.
Another point the researchers make, is that men will always yearn, while women have a generally easier time abstaining until conditions are right.
Like how bills that goes away our rights tend to have names that sound like they expand them
