That’s you being ignorant and burying your head in the sand (mostly applies if you’re American, you get a little more leeway if you’re not). The Epstein files are supposed to at the very least contain a client list of people who went to the island, who most could come to the conclusion were only there to rape children. Any more questions, look it up, it is very reported on
I don’t know how you believe it doesn’t exist
It makes it suspect that the books may have been written by a pedophile (overlooking things like the orgy in IT). Odd thing to defend the Epstein files if you aren’t one.
I feel this deeply as a 30 year old that has to repeat in my head “Never Eat Soggy Waffles” every time I use a cardinal direction

Not denying bad comes from politics, especially in regards to the US, clearly we are seeing a lot of awful things that can come from politics, and religion likes to play politics as well. I am and will continue to refuse that religion is capable of producing good will, change for the better, or anything outside of bringing forth hate and destruction

We could get unions, consumer protections, housing and food and other necessities guaranteed. We don’t, but we could. Politics is just trying to solidify how things are run. Obviously easily can be used for abuse, but can be used for good. Religion from the first step is to tell you how bad of a person you are and how to resolve it: join a cult, deny personal responsibility for anything and put that on whatever deity or subject for hate at the time, all your answers should be sought through your religion and not outside sources

But what undeniable good thing comes from religion? It’s not just that they have the potential for destruction and hate, it’s that those are the only possible outcomes

Here’s a great resource for sites and a rating system with explanations for each site
And if you want to explore more of the site there’s other resources for other media, and a guide to help protect you’re privacy
Ublock still mandatory on any site there, they don’t hold responsibility for the ads those sites allow

And what happens when mechahitler the next version of Grok or whatever AI hosted by a large corporation that only has the interest of capital gains comes out with unannounced injected prompt poisoning that doesn’t produce quality output like you’ve been conditioned to expect?
These AI are good if you have a general grasp of whatever you are trying to find, because you can easily pick out what you know to be true and what is obviously a ridiculous mess of computer generated text that is no smarter than your phone keyboard word suggestions AI hallucination.
Trying to soak up all the information generated by AI in a topic without prior knowledge may easily end up with you not understanding anything more than you did before, and possibly give you unrealistic confidence that you know what is essentially misinformation. And just because an AI pulls up references, unless you do your due diligence to read those references for accuracy or authority on the subject, the AI may be hallucinating where it got the wrong information it’s giving you.

“I see what you mean but I have to disagree”?

Probably not a great workaround, but you could subscribe to the communities rss feeds and group them in a feed reader

No, that’s collective IQ
I use Sygic and I don’t plan to switch. Its got a lot of great features for free, and not only do they use OSM, they contribute back to it with their content team, making sure information stays up to date for popular stores and sights. Downside is the voice navigation is locked behind their premium subscription. But i think its super valuable at $20/year, plus it allows you to turn your phone into a dashcam which I really like, and even more fun features using the camera. Sorry for sounding like an ad read, but I really like the app, and the company behind it.

I want to go off of this slightly and ask a similar question. Why is there no shopping network using activitypub? An open source replacement for facebook marketplace, ebay, etsy, and ideally amazon too. Seems like something that could really put a dent in mega corporations revenue and userbase, or maybe I’m just dreaming too much lol.
Don’t worry, I always have a stockpile. I can lend you a few, just A FEW. I need the rest
