It’s a tale he’s told many times: In 2015, Mamdani started knocking on doors for an aspiring Queens city councilman, Ali Najmi. But when he told it this time, Mamdani highlighted the real reason he wanted to get involved.
That reason was Himanshu Suri, the Queens-raised rapper and co-founder of the groups Das Racist and Swet Shop Boys. Suri, better known as Heems, grew up with Najmi and had been campaigning on his childhood friend’s behalf.

The article made it sound like he was broadcasting from a missile impact site, condemning those that broadcast those impact sites.
“Broadcasts that show exactly where the missiles land on the State of Israel are a danger to state security,” he said from a missile impact site in Petah Tikva on Tuesday.

What a waste of taxpayer dollars. If only there were a department for government efficiency that could fire everyone involved.

Isn’t it the case that “consensus” in the sciences is just a shorthand for “we agree that this is most likely to be true”?
If I were conversing with a scientist and I asked about possibility x, and they disagreed with it for the reason that “the consensus is…”, I would assume that they are not saying possibility x is wrong, but rather that they would need really good evidence to agree that x is correct.

Designed for factories, hospitals, universities and offices, this is essentially an all-encompassing RFID log-in and security system for employees, via smart cards, smartphone wallets, and wearables.
Kidneythieves is such an underrated band.
