The lionizing Luigi thing is for not mistaking the person as being themselves a good example to follow. We still maintain that adventurism overall is a bad thing. But we can also celebrate the outcome since it happened to an actual demon. The main point is not to encourage other lemmitors to do something similar. If it’s happening naturally because of the increasingly difficult situations Americans are facing, terrific. But don’t get yourself capped by a cop because you mistook Luigi adventurism for the start of the revolution.

It doesn’t, and that’s a good point. A lot of supposed “leftists” are really just sitting around waiting for it to happen, without realizing it takes all of us joining an org and doing some shit about the injustice around us.

BUT if/when you have money to spare invest them into creators/art that bring you something. It seems antithetical because they taught us real art should be free from capitalism’s shackles yadda yadda, but art and artists needs money to flourish. Find indie artists and wacky projects and fund them.

This is an excellent point and it bears repeating. Indie artists deserve to eat, and unfortunately we’re currently stuck in a capitalist hell hole. So until that system is demolished, throw them some coin for their work.

I mean, it depends. You kind of avoided the question a bit. But I suppose I could have worded it better, too. So I’ll take the L on that one. What I’m getting at is (1) what is your stance on Israel regarding Palestine, and specifically what would be your ideal for the future of Palestine; and (2) what is your position on Jews as a people group separate from Israel?

In the past, no, there have been remote exploits done through BOINC. But I haven’t been an active participant in over a decade, so I don’t know what their security is like now.

What are your views on Israel?
