I agree with your points. I don’t think any leftist party can officially have accelerationism as part of their platform for obvious publicity reasons to the uninitiated. However, I can’t really see how it hurts for USians to privately root for it by sucking money out of the USA and pumping it into the Global South.

Firstly, we in the USA unfortunately have a very limited timeline at this point to win the revolution. There are only two permanent ways to resolve the class contradiction. Either the workers get rid of the capitalists, or the capitalists kill all the workers and replace them with robots.[1] This is why Sam Altman and co. are so excited about AI.

In less than 100 years, the US capitalists will probably have AIed and automated everything, from AI production chains to robot cops. They will never need a human worker to touch shit again, and there is nothing said worker can do about it. There is nothing a worker can do to fight against robot terminator cops. It will allow capitalists to genocide, or mentally lobotomize, the former ‘working’ masses who are now nothing more than a nuisance, unwanted livestock.

To anyone who thinks that this is far-fetched, they are sorely misguided. Peter Thiel and co. are already talking about this future:

People who are not ‘productive’ would best be converted to biodiesel. Barring that, “our goal, in short, is a humane alternative to genocide. That is: the ideal solution achieves the same result as mass murder (the removal of undesirable elements from society), but without any of the moral stigma.”

“The best humane alternative to genocide”…is “to virtualize them. A virtualized human is in permanent solitary confinement, waxed like a bee larva into a cell which is sealed except for emergencies. This would drive him insane, except that the cell contains an immersive virtual-reality interface which allows him to experience a rich, fulfilling life in a completely imaginary world.”

    — Curtis Yarvin, with approval/following from Peter Thiel, JD Vance, Marc Andreessen [2] [3]

Secondly, against this timeline, it is imperative for U.S. Socialist parties to organize as hard as they possibly can. As conditions deteriorate for Americans, we can expect these parties to grow in popularity. However, what we need to avoid along the way is for the US bourgeoisie to not be rabid enough, to freak out from the socialist organizing, and add back enough social safety nets FDR-style to get people to go back to sleep, just to finish the full robotization and then kill us all off.

We sort of need the bourgeoisie to walk a fine line. We want them to respond somewhat to socialist parties’ demands, so that socialists can get small wins to use to further organize, but never wins big enough to demobilize the working class, and to always have a creeping line of oppression that we can mobilize further against.

Thirdly, the US Empire survives to this day only because the Global South is still mostly weak as fuck and has no money and no power. Out of the entire globe, the U.S. is the country with the most colonially-stolen money. So if any accelerationist can take money out of the U.S. and pump it in to the Global South, that is strictly a net benefit.

Based on these conditions, if a so-called accelerationist and socialist sympathizer wants to deliberately drain money out of Americans and pump it into the Global South, there is nothing wrong with that. They just need to regulate the amount of extraction such that it maintains the necessary creeping rate of oppression. This means ramping up exploitation when other capitalists want to give back concessions, and ramping it down when things are deteriorating too fast for good organizing to take place. That way they can play the bad cop to socialist good cop and hopefully drive stuff towards a better end.

If I somehow do end up getting a fuck ton of money in the US, and the socialist parties are still falling behind, my goal will be to use the money to further drain as much money from Americans as possible and shuttle it to China or whatever other promising Global South or AES states. Even if the USA becomes a capitalist wasteland, at least the Global South will be developed enough to ignore the dying Americans.

  • The F? He got ‘convicted’ for child enticement after he started agitating against the Iraq War. He was a US weapons inspector in Iraq, and was on the ground checking for WMDs pre-war and found none.

I’ll cite some previous comments I made, with sources:

    https://lemmygrad.ml/post/5319924/4836806

Just in case anyone brings up his weird history of child sexual offenses, he was never prosecuted for harming actual children. Both prosecuted offenses were supposedly sting operations (aka entrapment) by FBI and police, which makes them super suspicious. For example, the first one in 2001 was conveniently timed to interfere with his anti-Iraq War advocacy.

The US government seized his passport in early June just to stop him from attending the St. Petersburg Economic Forum and derail his planned tour of Russia, where he would’ve gotten more coverage of his antiwar advocacy.

I would not be surprised if the FBI makes up a new sex offense charge based on this raid to try to shut him up about Russia, since that got the media so riled up the last 2 times. Another kind of bogus charge also wouldn’t be a surprise.

The 2001 sting operation was so conveniently timed that even Fox News had to point out how sus it looked: Former U.N. Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter: Timing of Arrest Reports Suspicious

Before he publicly came out against the Iraq war and denounced all claims of Iraq having WMDs, AIPAC even tried to buy Ritter off for 6 million dollars and a lifetime of luxury in exchange for him making up shit about how evil Iraq is. Ritter turns them down because he would not lie about Iraq’s WMDs.

Ritter talks about this on Danny Haiphong’s show here.

Ritter’s non-cooperation obviously has made him a massive target, especially because of his deep knowledge on the ground in Iraq and the military apparatus.

If Scott really just wanted to molest children for free, why didn’t he simply go to Israel and get his million-dollar book deal? After all, that’s what all the Zionist pedophiles in the U.S. do.

Scott Ritter isn’t a principled socialist due to his military background and career. Still, he is a valuable voice for anti-US-empire military analysis, since leftists with military training are few and far between. Politically, he falls in the same camp as military-analyst-turned libertarian anti-imperialists Ray Mcgovern, Larry Wilkerson, and Larry Johnson.

We do not and should not listen to libertarians’ proposals of domestic policy, but on fighting imperialist American foreign policy we are aligned.

  • Scott Ritter’s house was raided by the Biden admin, so he is understandably pissed at them. Scott Ritter also knows people in the Trump administration personally, so he clearly hoped that he would have more influence over Trump and co’s actions. He has never ‘glazed’ Trump. He had hopes Trump would follow through on his peace plans.

Now that he sees that isn’t the case, Scott is also becoming quite vocal at criticizing Trump. He has repeatedly come out against the Houthi airstrikes.

  • Agree. I assume Disney pushed this through simply because they already put money into it, and they saw that they still managed to make money off of live-action Ariel.

In theory, casting non-white actors helps to sell their movies to a more global audience, thus making more money. In practice, I think global audiences prefer companies to put more effort into actually telling their stories rather than just shoving them into white stories.

  • His day job is working at Shanghai Daily, a Chinese state-owned English language newspaper. Reports on China is his side project.

I don’t really see how him commenting on China’s lukewarm reception of live-action Snow White counts as anti-woke or whatever (BTW the term ‘woke’ or ‘anti-woke’ sounds so fucking stupid, meaningless, and lacking analysis). China has no history of using Africans as slaves, so it has literally no stakes in American interracial conflicts. I also don’t think Chinese people have any obligation to watch Disney slop, and would much prefer their ticket money funds Chinese culture and films than Disney.

It’s just kind of funny how a character named Snow White for their white skin can somehow be cast as a non-white character. It’s sort of fundamental. Ultimately, Disney’s live-action princess remakes are just cheap, low-effort moves to try to use non-white faces to capture a broader audience and appear falsely progressive with no actual regard to the art, culture, or fighting actual racism.

This remake has the same issues that casting a black person for Ariel did. Instead of writing or adapting a new story for a Latin American princess, or an African princess, from the original culture, they instead decide to shove them into a white European story as if non-white cultures have nothing of worth to write about.

Also remember that a lot of people, including Chinese, are boycotting this movie because of actress Gal Gadot’s pro-Zionist views. That is definitely a good thing.

  • Current LLMs have access to much more information than even the best teacher can hope to remember. I already know high school chemistry teachers who are using Perplexity (LLM-enhanced search engine) to plan lesson plans because Perplexity is able to search up all the latest on a topic.

Obviously, a teacher still needs to be in the loop somewhere to ensure a bar of quality on the lesson plan, but there’s no reason why AI can’t just be an enhanced search engine that makes their planning easier, and can help to prevent students from being taught outdated information. I bet you can remember some fact that you learned in school that ended up being wrong later.

For example, the tongue zone taste map you may have seen in anatomy class is completely wrong. In fact, each taste bud is able to sample all the tastes with variations between each taste bud.
