My apologies. Maybe I should copy and paste more info from the link I mentioned at the top that includes more details https://lemmy.world/post/35749413 but I’ll try to rephrase it to make it more convenient for people. Just a sample of the plans anyways to see what type of response I’d get, and working on the next organizational stages of the plans now. Edit: Updated, but will still try to come back later to edit more.

A warehouse would work well for the e-sports division, but for an irl version of the sport inspired by the conquest game mode of the battlefield series, I think an open field would work best, but of course there are plenty of cheaper options. I was using that location as an example.
Edit: But we can still look into a warehouse for a version of the conquest game mode as well of course. Hope to see you on the dodgeball battlefield!

It only relates to the battlefield series in ways that one of the event game modes, Conquest Dodgeball (official name TBD) is inspired by the battlefield game mode, and how part of the theme of the meet up is with gamers uniting for a fun cause to help people stay active and healthy through sport.

Thank you and I’ll try to rewrite it, but at the last sentence in first paragraph it says “Ours could still be something unique, bringing together different gaming communities” and I forgot to mention we can include an e-sports division of the NES Dodgeball Game, even though it relates to it in other ways since that’s the style I first began playing the sport in 2001 and I’d love to host more events using the same rules of the NES game for irl versions.

We could have multiple locations for different experiences, and I hosted a few dodgeball practices in Odesa, Ukraine in 2021 and I hope to return to Ukraine soon!

I hope to try to offer something for people who can’t attend, and also hope to create plenty of highlight footage to show everyone the experience. Thank you, and if anyone has any suggestions for communities to post this to, I will try.
Edited to try to fix it a little.
