I hope the NATO push would be stronger than simple arms supplies, if nothing less based on the likely crumbling of the alliance. If it were to fall it’s very conceivable Canada would strike deals with the Chinese, or even Russia to maintain its independence. Protected guerrilla warfare regardless, which the USA does not have a great track record, especially considering it’s never tried it with as well armed and aligned nation as Canada.

It would be an invasion and occupation. Very very few Canadians would cooperate with the annexation, and more than likely it would look something more like Afghanistan or Ukraine, but with much better equipment being provided to resistance forces.

Reddit didn’t used to be that way. Slowly over time it devolved into the same self-flagellation that happens more on “share my thought” type platforms like Twitter. Probably filmed in Vancouver/south BC cost. The studio infrastructure is already there and lots of very similar landscapes. The game setting has great potential to be a fantastic series. I really hope they lean into the first nations history too!

Below zero was still an excellent game. I don’t think it was as good as the original, mostly due to the stupid snow Fox and must of the on land sections, but it doesn’t deserve anywhere near the level of hate it gets. The story was way better and more interesting than the first, and the world design was a great attempt at a different form of world building. I hope they expand on both and we can get an experience that propels the format further. No other game let’s me engage and chill out to anywhere near the same level.

Beside each race portrait there is an expanded menu that shows what makes them happy. Referencing this menu is essential to ensure your workers don’t die or leave. I pretty much always get a lumber mill or carpenter asap to help speed up plank production too. Cloth and brick production are pretty essential too, but with planks alone you can at least get everyone housed in the large shelters.
