Seconded, I hate Musk but I also hate clickbait. Worth noting though, he seems to have been connected via Starlink so that’s funny.

Yeah you’re right, I was oversimplifying for the bit. I will now be saying “AI art bad” going forward to clarify.
I think it makes a huge difference- Shapiro is just one person. And to prove the point, look how much influence he, a young guy, is having on our political landscape. Not that they’re the perfect politicians, but look at how much support people like AOC and Tulsi Gabbard drum up. We need people that are energized and that can energize others.
Musician. Graduated college expecting to go into STEM but the work made me miserable. A little less financially stable now but I would trade that for my mental well-being 10 times out of 10.
Dead internet theory strikes again
Now we’re cookin’ with bonehurting juice, fellas
If you ask the question “is this hype or not”, l’d consider who is pushing the narrative and how much they have to gain from it and you’ll probably find your answer.
Hope you’re in a better place now, or at least working towards it.
Man, you’re the one that’s going out of their way to spread angry rhetoric. You were making a call about someone you don’t know with no prior info, so yes that is an assumption. I really hope you find a way to move past this anger you are holding onto, regardless of any political disagreements we might have- it’s not healthy for you or the world. Good luck out there.
I think any kind of reductive rhetoric (like you pointed out in your post) is hurtful and harmful- yes, even if the roles are reversed. It seems like you’re making a lot of assumptions based on a couple words I typed out.
Please go outside, dawg
Jazz is my favorite genre to play- this thinking sill applies but it’s a lot more abstract- even if there is heavy improv as is the style, it’s still musical patterns over repeating chord changes. Couple that with the subversion of expectation thing I mentioned elsewhere in this thread and it’s a winning formula if I’ve ever heard one.
Musician here. This is definitely true, BUT interest can also come from subversion of those expectations. Can be seen in prog music and math rock (subversion of musical forms), funk (subversion of rhythmic expectation with lots of upbeats and short notes), etc
Love this game, I have around 700 hours in it. My current colony just made a rocket and started space travel!
Not existing is neither bad nor good, existence is the experience of both good and bad things. Don’t only focus on the bad ones.
Everyone’s a comedian so here’s some actual advice.
TLDR: be polite but firm, know what you’re asking for.
Lots of activism and lobbyist groups have the concept of an “ask”, or what you’re attempting to get out of the negotiation. Have a solid, easily understandable ask that is generous enough to withstand a bit of pushback from the other party, who will almost certainly try to negotiate the other direction. Also, when you deliver a statement, question, or ultimatum, wait for the other person to respond to it, even if there’s a couple seconds of silence in between. Conventional wisdom says the one who speaks first in these moments is displaying insecurity and is less sure of their ask or position in the negotiation.
But if I say “100% of people who make sweeping generalizations with no room for nuance should get the death penalty” then I’m the bad guy
