Compatibility, though it’s usually forced, like the Xbox controller with a drm chip that you need a workaround for
I generally just avoid it, otherwise I use it on windows, I still use dual boot with windows and Linux, will probably stop after w10 stops getting security updates since I don’t really care all that much about windows specific stuff
It’s not windows.
Any bonus points for a concise answer?
Nah, because no alternative can be a complete replacement and if it’s not the exact same experience, people aren’t willing to put that tiniest bit of effort.
Again, look at Reddit as an example, alternatives exist, yet none of them are the exact same because there’s not a comparable size, and because of that people will just pull down their pants and begrudgingly accept reddit’s problems.
And they’re not losing us any time soon, for years I’ve seen people saying that YouTube is going down because they do shit the users don’t like and yet everyone keeps using them and in general making no effort in changing that.
It’s just like Reddit, a few of us left but that didn’t change anything, everyone’s still using it and they’re not stopping any time soon.
Even if not abandoning the platform, it would only take a decent portion of the users reducing their use of the platform for them to feel a punishment of some sort, but nobody’s really willing to do anything other than complain and automatically dismiss any suggestion of an alternative.
And does Linux ever do that? “wellllll yeah sometimes it can but only if you’re using it wrong.”
Linux community is like the dark souls of computers
Eh, you only notice it when it’s bad, most of the time for most users it’s okay, though I generally argue they just make an unconscious decision to ignore most issues, even before trying out Linux I was flabbergasted at how people literally lose time and get flustered at a problem but then refuse to accept it as such.
And Linux will dethrone windows.
I wish they were true but reality is that people will accept just about any and all abuse and stay with the crap despite sometimes getting angry about it.
Dafuq is this meme? civilians are civilians, regardless of the country religion or whatever the duck they’re born in.
Oh, that’s interesting.
Elaborating further, small businesses here usually contract a delivery business instead of hiring delivery personnel, I think they just arrange the cost of the delivery instead of a fixed cost, so it’s basically no impact to the cost of the business.
Not a perfect system, but at least small places can do cheap delivery without jacking up the prices.
To be clear, I live in a corner of Argentina, even if that sounds good, we have other problems lmao.
I’m curious, do businesses not do their own deliveries anymore? I personally never stopped just ordering directly from the place I’m eating from. Couldn’t tell you how common uber eats and others are in my area, I just know I don’t use them.
Meh, motivation is kind of a bad drive anyways, it always runs out, ideally you want to push through until it becomes a habit… Easier said than done tho, specially with depression which is like an invisible force that doesn’t let you do stuff (not to be confused with laziness).
I’ve found that begrudgingly doing stuff helps, at least in my case.
I think the e thing sounds fucking stupid, however if that makes people happy, so be it, language is supposed to evolve over time, the e is only annoying if you actively oppose to it (or are in a position where you’re not allowed to make mistakes)
Funnies aside, if you get better quality of sleep you might end up needing less than you currently do
Sadly the “trick” is just to do the things we all know we should do, like exercise, good eating habits, consistent sleeping schedules, etc. Also a lot varies from person to person, and some people sleep better at weird hours, like some people are just naturally night owls.
So when discussing something like the title of this post, we could talk all day about what we personally believe the answer is, but the legality really is the only objective answer here.
I agree, we can enjoy a long insightful conversation if we talk about morals… Why do you sound like that shouldn’t be the default?
Edit: wait, how in the duck do you expect a single monolithic legal answer in a question that did not provide a legal jurisdiction?
I’m curious, if not from the people discussing, what kind of answer were you expecting?
Just so you know, the complaint isn’t towards the coach, rather the institution.
