The more successful you are the less you’re exploited.
the harder you’re work means you are rewarded if you choose the right careers
What did you mean by this? Do you think there are jobs that need to be done that do not deserve to be paid a living wage because the person doing it didn’t work hard?
You know what I’m asking and you’re being tedious on purpose. Stop that, talk to me like an adult speaks to another adult.
Why not answer the question?
You seem to think there are jobs that need to be done where the workers deserve to be exploited.

Except me.
And you.

It costs more to generate power from coal and diesel.
What’s happening right now is happening because people didn’t go out and vote against it
But in American elections generally (and specifically the US presidential election), with very few notable exceptions, there’s no way to vote against a candidate. I wish there were. For example, in Brazil you can “white ballot” or null vote, which people do as a protest. In Colombia this can actually force a redo on the election. But in America we can only vote in favor of one of the options presented or not vote in that race.

I’ve made films and one of my closest friends is a model. Nobody is all that attractive in any objective sense. Moreover, nobody cares how smart anyone else is, and if someone seems loved by everyone around them, congratulate them for finding their tribe. Go find yours and worry less about other people.
But having a full time job means you’re successful, doesn’t it? Or do you believe there are classes of full time workers who don’t deserve to make a living wage?

It’s generative AI though, not creative. It can literally only create what it’s seen before. It’s incapable of being original. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Andy Warhol painted soup cans. But anyone who expects inspiration and creativity from generative AI doesn’t understand the technology as it’s applied…

A handful of ultra-rich people would lose a little bit of power and their entire social structure would collapse. That country won’t open back up without tremendous suffering, especially as long as the rich people in power stay rich and powerful by keeping things the way they are.
Similar to everywhere else.
In the US it depends on how good the call blocking is on your service.

When I encounter teenagers who use reddit I tell them to look up “subreddit of the year 2008” just to gross them out.
In the US those tax breaks only benefit people who itemize which almost no workers do (they use standard deduction).

When someone comes up with something like this, I transport the phrase back to the 80s where people said the exact same thing about home computers. “if a computer was something everyone wanted or needed, it wouldn’t be constantly shoved (in) your face by every product. People would just use it.” Ok great but a computer turned out to be something everyone wanted or needed which is why computers were built into everything by the turn of the 90s, famously leading to the Y2k bug.
Then I transport the phrase back to the mid 90s where people said the exact same thing about the internet. By the end of the 90s, the internet provided the backbone communications structures for telecommunications, emergency management, banking, education, and was built into every possible product. Ten years later people got smartphones and literally couldn’t put them down.

So do some of the comments here.
Forbes magazine found a long time ago that the best way to get a raise in America is to find another job.

Why are you worried about other people’s priorities? Worry about your own.
Start holding the entire government accountable. Don’t forgive individual politicians just because they have a handful of beliefs that ideologically align with yours.
