  • No reason to be a dick. You could have rephrased most of this and had it be a beneficial suggestion, but instead it just comes across as you being mean. Looking over you comment history, it looks like most of your comments are that way. You almost are never helpful, just lashing out at people for doing something wrong or asking for help instead of figuring things out themselves. No one is going to take advice from you like this, you’re just pissing people off and wasting your own time in the process.

  • I think part of Blue Prince for me is that I keep discovering additional layers of depth to it. They keep giving me reasons to go back and re-evaluate rooms, and I have a dozen different larger puzzles that I’m sorting out the details on as I go. I also appreciate the steady permanent improvements to the rooms and my base resources, and it’s really cool whenever I find a new mechanic to abuse for easier future runs.

The storytelling is vague, I’ve “finished” the main objective of finding room 46 but the pieces of the story I’ve put together suggest there’s a much more important conclusion to reach.

  • There were hundreds of people who worked on the game, and the game itself went out of it’s way to feature trans characters. I doubt there’s a single AAA game or mass produced product out there that isn’t partially owned by some individual who you don’t want to support, so I think singling out hogwarts legacy in particular to boycott is kind of meaningless.

You could argue that by boycotting it you’re sending a message, and just singling it out as an example, but the game already sold incredibly well and is a huge success. I don’t think there’s any reason at this point that someone who grew up enjoying harry potter and wants to play the game should feel bad about it. Seems silly to deny yourself something you might enjoy over some small change going to a billionaire you don’t like.
