That is the reason there’s so many distro. Use whatever suits you need.

Been using arch for more than 3 years never had a single issue that can’t be easily fixed. But this is not the case for everyone. And this is not the case with mint either so, It shouldn’t be any specific distro.

Umm… It has darkmode. Atleast in Linux can’t say about windows.

VLC is still one of the most powerful video/audio player in existence.

Firefox, ppsspp, termux, VLC, Tachiyomi(SY), and KeypassXC/DX are coming to my mind. Probably there are a lot more. These are for android. Although they do apply to desktop except termux and Tachiyomi.

Edit: I haven’t added the various FOSS tools as they don’t really come in “App” Category. Some of them:

Definitely, the built in TODO, and clipboard are just icing on the cake. it has quite a few feature that makes it worth to use even if MS bought it.

I am on Android and Bing AI isn’t too intrusive on android, most of the time i don’t even notice it.

I used to use gboard but it just too heavy for a keyboard app so i switched to Swiftkey, also imo Swiftkey have superior autocorrect and glidding typing.

I don’t really have problem with MS buying it, it works nice for me and that’s all i need. i never type my passwords so i don’t have to worry about it.

I am too used to SwiftKey, I tried. I can’t get used to it.
