During winter no less! :/

Rather Ripped and Sonic Nurse are both very, very good later albums! :)
It’s less solid, but I also adore some songs on The Eternal (Antenna, What We Know, Walking Blue, and Massage the History)
I see what you did there! :)

Love this :)
Heck yeah! Excellent song, with lovely memories of playing burnout 3 and going everywhere with my little 512mb mp3 player)
It feels like there’s a pun for this! Best I have is Lionel Ri-chief though?
Ooh I can help maybe! :) Anecdotally, yes, colour can change like that, and it can go back to how it was before.
I started SSRI medication 10ish years back and it felt like everything was in some HD technicolour. :) It honestly was overwhelming. I get spells where it’s muted again, usually that’s my internal sign for “ooh I’m likely a bit burnt out and should stop”.
Beyond the quick answer though, I hope you’re getting by okay and things pick up in some way ♥️
For me, it’s a bridge that totally lurches sideways - it fits, but goes walkies a bit before settling back into the song. R.E.M. mastered it I think :)

Thank you for reminding me of this silliness :)

Oh my word if I read “today is your lucky day!” and am told to download yet another .deb file"…
I’ll probably download it and tolerate it because D&D is on there, but darn it if I won’t be mildly displeased about it! :) The real campaign is convincing my friends to use something else!

“I’m Your Fan” was a Leonard Cohen tribute album I really enjoyed, mainly for R.E.M. covering “First We Take Manhattan”! :)
There’s also A Giant Dog’s cover of the whole of Arcade Fire’s album “Neon Bible”, which gives it a punkish edge - I loved it! :)

I want to be a great parent, and be able to make games and/or music for a living - dream I shall!
Short of that, I want to have a pet penguin and live in a quirky house by the sea like a character in some kids book, that sounds excellent.

Same on all counts, best of luck. ♥️
Ubuntu all the way! :) Before I learned there were other ones, then wound up back on Mint again after a trip around the houses. :)

That’s interesting to know! Open source is the way to go where we can.
I do like using (proprietary sadly edit: see below) AutoHotkey on the Windows machine at work, aaaand thanks to learning about Hammerspoon I’ve been bitten with the itch to do this on Linux at home! :)
Edit… waaaait AHK is open-source?! Nice :) I’ll do some digging after work! :)
I do, this is it! Recently remade in Hugo :)
It’s mostly things I’ve made or been interested in (music, game projects, musical web nonsense), but mostly just… I’ve always had this site, and am attached to it in a way?
It used to be the name of a comic I made for fun, and the gets used for everything to remind me to keep that feeling of fun and making stuff for enjoyment. :)
Must admit, I’m frequently torn between the private nature of why I binned facebook vs writing there, but meh, I’m happy and that’ll do.

Avowed is still going strong! Loving it! :)

I “broke” linux mint just by trying to pop KDE on, had to timeshift because it messed up my keyboard layout and a whole bunch of other things with my display.
I don’t know how people do these crazy changes without pain, and have a feeling the answer is simply “there’s pain” 😂

I appreciate the thing Obsidian do where they seem to make things in parallel so there’s constantly income (in theory) - hopefully still do good games and it’s a way to stop layoffs after projects end. :)
That’s awesome! :) Did you land on a favourite for day-to-day stuff? I had the exact same pipeline - windows 11 was announced, and Mint went on days later! :) I love Kubuntu at the moment, and tried PopOS as well. :)
