Not correct. I have clients in their 60s who are using Fedora just for online shopping and the occasional document edit. Everything worked perfectly fine out of the box. Only had to tweak libraoffice to save in docx by default and that’s about it.

Ok that seams nuts. Never thought this would happen as it would mean that people would delete Facebook accounts and basically move to mastodon or such. But I bet it’s only between Facebook Instagram and WhatsApp. Like you could message people on Instagram and WhatsApp from Facebook and Visa versa and not actually follow people on mastodon.

But wouldn’t people use services like trash mail.com and temp mail? Unless reddit end up stopping them?
