And if the only people willing to work for the tyrant only kids the ring, it will take a long while for someone to stop his worse actions, if anyone ever does.
I don’t believe in heros, they were just brave enough or dumb enough and in the right place to do some good. And that might actually describe this guy. But still just a flawed person.
I absolutely disagree with much of what Liz Cheney supports, but I’ll still give her props for serving on the J6 committee knowing what it could mean for her career.
Very odd.
Add to that not being able to confirm what medical facility she is in.
Maybe she already had a fall out of a second story window but sometime didn’t get the cover story correct.
Great tips just want to add a few. Yes use drywall mud, slop it on, not too thick. It will contract. Didn’t try to get it perfect with the spackle knife. Use coarse and fine drywall sandpaper or a sponge. The sponge will help get the corner crisp, if you use paper, wrap it around a square block. Use very light pressure. Give it a day or 2 to dry before sanding. Use a quality printer before painting.
Some people will say you should make sure all the loose bits are chipped away, in my experience you may end up taking much more down than you want. Try and get anything raised chipped away and some peel stop primer will help to hold it down and prevent future chipping.
Subscription based navigation? Want to use your car’s navigation system, there’s a fee for that? Want to fly a drone, that’ll be 9.99/month. Hopefully there will be a carve out for emergency systems.
This will also allow Tesla to up their traffic game. If everyone is using the Starlink GPS for navigation they’ll have all the data.
You don’t hire security you buy your popularity. Lower executive pay. Raise worker pay. Remove restrictions on coverage approval. Not saying pay for everything, but don’t avoid paying when it’s covered.
Improve your status with employees and the public and you didn’t have to worry about getting shot in the street.
Wondering if someone somehow linked your Gmail (email you received this on) to their proton account. I was looking for an email you could forward this to to report it to proton but could not find one.
As always, if an email looks suspect, don’t click anything. Just wish there was a way to report it.
OP stated this was sent to their Gmail, so wouldn’t have the tag.
I can actually see some practical use for this. Imagine a textbook for programming or system administration with a built in terminal and feedback loop to walk students through examples and correct mistakes.
Oooh do you think that would work on my 96kbps mp3s?
We absolutely should have more specialized LLMs. That being said we have dozens of tools that convert documents and data. Also any engineer worth a nickel should be able to whip something up in an hour or so for most cases.
no internet access, no power, no retail.
Does this actually sound like a utopia to anyone else or just me?
I knew of a house like this in another state and I’m guessing this one was done for the same reason. Hiding from the tax man. Buy some land, build a barn, get it on the tax rolls as an uninhabited structure and finally build your fully functional home inside.
I’m guessing this will be a headache of a sale. The taxes on Zillow didn’t make much sense.
Had to go back and look. I’m sure those are just assistive.
The horizontal could have easily been covered and I can’t imagine it is comfortable to have there, even when not in use.
Yes they do and I do add my own tech but my experience with some of these devices has not been great.
I have LG TVs which I connected to the network and have been updated over the years to have really bad UX and are now polluted with ads.
I had an LG sound bar that was great for a while until it completely stopped working. Powers on, all functions seem to work, just no sound. Originally it worked as a Chromecast device too, but they stopped doing updates and Google stopped working with the old API.
My fear is that eventually there will be an update that bricks a device. Now I’ve taken them off the network, but how long before we have TVs that require Internet to even function.
These smart TVs have a lot more hardware and software than they need which means a lot more to break.
Miss the days when you could buy a dumb TV and add the tech you wanted.
Fun fact, depending on the water and the cup, it is possible to super heat water in a microwave so that it has reached boiling point but it’s not actually boiling. Tossing anything into a cup like this will cause the water to violently boil often causing burns.
I also suck at this. There is a lazy way though you’ll have to accept a certain look. My great grandmother had doilies everywhere. Every surface was covered. Most nearly completely, a few of the bigger tables just had a small one. Once a week she would collect them all and wash them. I didn’t realize till much later in life that the purpose they served was to collect dust to keep it off your surfaces.
I wonder if something more aesthetically passing to the modern eye would be as effective or if the intricate lace is important to the function.
Next evolution, carrier drones. Larger fiber drones that carry smaller radio drones and can also act as a repeater when needed.
