The Inverted Frontier is without a doubt my favorite sci-fi series. I can’t wait for book five to come out. Last I read (on her website) Linda has been in a funk and hasn’t really been writing so the wait continues.
Newman had multiple monitors before it was cool.

Virtuosity

I watched it a few years ago and enjoyed it. Robin Williams did a great job playing the main character.

I’m hoping the sucessor of the fediverse is something from the spritely institute

Ah good point lol!

If my dentist ever said stuff like that to me I would tell them to shut the fuck up, and just do your job taking care of my teeth. If you don’t I’ll go to another dentist.

Ah a stream of enSHITification.

My desktop (that runs guix) is from 2009. At the time I built it for gaming. In the last couple years I upgraded the ram to 16 gig and replaced the graphics card (old one died), no other mods made. Now I use it for much more mundane stuff and it’s still completely usable.

Jami is an option also.

Trump works for pootles.

Yeah the elitism thing is detrimental because it drives newcomers away. The more people who get interested in linux and start using it the better.

Oh I’m stoopit. I just looked up the documentation for keepassxc and it supports it too:
https://keepassxc.org/docs/KeePassXC_UserGuide#_passkeys
So I guess the next time I create an account that supports it I’ll try it and see how it goes.

The eco-system lock-in makes this a non-starter for me. If I could store the private keys in something like a keepass vault (or that) and do the authentication magic from that I would consider it.
One of my wifes friend once casually mentioned that she thinks uncut dickssare gross. She asks for a dick pic from potential hooks ups to screen them out 😬.

GPL, because the code is open and stays that way.

Yeah I think these luddite people would be better served if they took a more free/libre (gnu, fsf) approach to computing vs rejecting technology wholesale.

The look on her face in the thumbnail matches the title perfectly.
