That is exactly why Chromebooks were (are?) so popular. You got a cheap laptop with an easy-to-use OS without having to do any install. And let’s be real here, most people don’t need anything more than a web browser.

Go for Bazzite. It’s basically Steam OS but with extra stuff that makes it “just work”, even on an Nvidia GPU.
Once Valve releases their official Steam OS, you can always switch to it.
Agreed. I hope it doesn’t become so popular that it turns to shit.
I mean, it’s getting harder and harder each day to argue against him deliberately destroying the west.
But a forum post said it would fix my issue.
Not for him, though. It sucks that the kings of today - and Trump, at this point, can definitely be referred to as such - will probably not face any consequences for their actions. Throughout history, it has always taken a few generations for their empires to come crashing down.
It’s way worse than that.
Even if you somehow magically have the same settings as everyone else, you’re mouse movement will still be unique.
You can even render something on a canvas out of view and depending on your GPU, your graphics driver, etc the text will look different…
There is no real way to escape fingerprinting.
As a parent and a former uncle, I can tell you that it’s not comparable in the slightest. One is just having fun with a kid, while the other fills you with a sense of purpose unlike anything else.
That’s still half the US population though.

Does anyone know of a good way to sync the database to Proton drive?
Vscode does have a lot of shortcuts, so you could always study them in detail and impress others that way. 😅
Yes, but if you want to argue along those lines, you could also have an infected version of vim on your system just waiting to do malicious stuff until you give it sudo access.
Alternatively you could use my favorite approach, Visual Studio Code. Just open the file with it, edit it and upon saving you will be promoted if the file needs admin rights to save.
Mainly this stuff:
OK now I want the recipe 😅
Am I crazy that I don’t think it looks that bad?
Games is the one example that actually makes sense though. The game code size hasn’t really increased tremendously, but the uncompressed assets have only gotten more detailed and more numerous.
