I can confirm that the car building website thing for ordering a new BMW doesn’t work with Librewolf.
Anyway, I didn’t buy a BMW.
Aargh.

I’m always baffled by those weirdos who insist on chiming in.
Me: “goddamn its hot, its like 32C”
Weirdo: “yeah but its 45C in the Arabian desert!!11!”
Me: “okay but I live north of the arctic circle and its May.”

And walking away doesn’t mean it survived. Could walk for hours before succumbing to the injuries.

Poor elephant. I hope they it is okay. The article didnt say anything clear about it :(

If it has a video-out port, like a HDMI, plug that in and use a external monitor or TV. Other than that, open it up and check that the monitor connection is plugged in and not broken.
For future inquiries about problems with your machinery, please include the make and model in your question. It is impossible to give tech support if people have to guess which machine you are using.

Explaining Computers did a video about running various Linuxes on various low performance machines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJGf8zVt3MI
As someone who is running a ancient compaq laptop, with 4gb of ram, Debian 13, I can say that it works just fine. Cant do gaming etc with it, but all I do with this is use the browser, IRC and watch a racing stream every weekend. Works perfectly fine with those.

And it sucks even as that.
The shareholders are morons.

I don’t want to start a war here, but I don’t get why people argue that the EU is better than the US
Probably because the EU is better than the US. Just because its not perfect and has flaws, doesn’t make it as bad or worse as the US.

Indeed it is. If it had amazing capabilities and performance off road, if it was bulletproof, if its body panels (and apparently wheels) wouldnt fall off, if it had perfect self driving capabilities… It would still be stupid.
But it doesn’t have any of those tings. Its extremely stupid.

“Is it floating?”
“Yes.”
“Investigation over.”

I just meant that the other languages I once learned, I don’t know anymore. :D Its been such a long time since I used them at all, I can understand some individual words if I read them, I can say “my name is ____” and “hello” in those languages but thats about it.
But yeah, I know how to speak my native language and English, thats two, so its technically correct that I know “multiple” languages :D

What is it with the British and them dumping their sewage into bodies of water?

Hehe. Funnily enough, English is the 3rd non-native language I learned but the only one I actually know these days. I’ve forgotten pretty much everything of the others.

Yes, that’s why I thought I’d mention the thing. Sorry for not being clear, English is not my native language.

Works fine for me. Literally never had a issue.
I’m not logged into youtube with any device because google demands to know my phone number in order to “verify” its me, logging into my youtube account. So as a solution I just don’t log in anymore. I still watch stuff though.

The sync thing would require a account of some sort. And some other tracking stuff. I’m fine with not having any. I don’t watch so much youtube that I forget what I watched and what I didn’t watch. But I get the desire to have some way of syncing.
Freetube has a thing where it attempts through Invidious first, if thats down, it gets the stuff straight from youtube.

I use Freetube. Its a app, you don’t sign in, you can subscribe to stuff but those are stored locally (as I understand it?), adblock, sponsorblock, hide shorts etc are built in. Of course since you don’t use it with a account, you can’t comment, but that’s just a nice bonus feature. You can still read the comments if you so choose. Because it doesn’t load all the trackers and bullshit, its also about a billion times lighter than the youtube page, which is nice since my laptop is 700 years old and struggles to run anything, really.
It does have “popular” and “trending” pages but those rarely work, another nice bonus.
The only downside is that there is no “sort by popular” option when browsing a channels videos. But all in all, highly recommend it. Apparently there are other such apps available but thats the only one I’ve used.

Don’t forget Ukraine bombing the shit out of russian oil infrastructure. Even the oil well fire smoke clouds have a silver linings.
Oh, nice. That /explore site was a good find. Thanks for letting me know.
Sort of similar to kagi.com, they have that https://kagi.com/smallweb/ thing going on
Nah, just drop both of them out of my life. Break up, block phone numbers etc.
No need to keep trash around. No need to have drama.
