I’ve seen this reposted a lot, and yet I still always see it as thicc batman. the optical illusion is forever stuck in my brain
it seems like a pro-communist programming message to me. the red dude looks super cool and supportive.

I have a good set of cast iron and steel pans, a dutch oven, and some decent knives. Those get me through a vast majority of my cooking. The rice cooker and blender see a decent amount of action, but the rest of the gadgets just take up space.
I also really enjoy all the parts of the process, from prep work to plating, so maybe this conversation is more about fulfillment. If someone doesn’t like cooking, then gadgets can let them spend less time doing it. If I want to make a beautiful roast or extravagant brunch, my time spent doing it is worthwhile to me.

you only ever get one true blind playthrough. I would gladly blank all of my soulsborne knowledge to play through all of them again with fresh eyes.
it’s not the same, but if you’re playing on PC there are some decent mods for DS 1, 2, and 3 that make them a little more fresh. particularly, the randomizer for DS1 makes it a pretty hilarious challenge, since you can no longer plan your runs in advance, and have to roll with absolutely mismatched gear
dads everywhere agree: click those tongs and slap those bags


the drizzle could work. keep the bread drier for longer, and speed up the inevitably delicious mix of sauce and yolk


everything looks cooked perfectly.
and the plating is nice; maybe only improved with an oval plate that fits the shape of the food better.
pico on chili is also fantastic.
bonus food remix: put that mess on a fresh corn tortilla, and add an egg for some dank huevos ran-chili.
