You could show me an ad for exactly what I want in that moment and I’d immediately not want it any more.
proceeds to show something you don’t want at all
Basicly every terrible website/service that “irreversibly deletes” an account
I am surpringly annoyed about Americans somehow finding a way to make this about themselves
And turning it into politics, because there is no otger way to talk about things
Sure, discussing politics is important to some degree, but it isn’t the most important thing in our lifes
One of the most important persons in the world (atleast for catholics) has died. We shouldn’t laugh about it. We shouldn’t politicize it. We shouldn’t take it to any other context.
I’m surprised and sad at the same time. Even tho i like edgy memes and memes about Pope John Paul II (he is a legend in Poland and polish community do meme about him but in a very respectful way), i really find it bad to do so about Pope Francis right now - so i dislike any post like this
You can force it on windows if you really want.
Please elaborate
It is FOSS in old-fashioned way
Functionality, list of supported sites/services and simplicity
The only drawback for some users would be that it’s CLI-only, but there are GUI frontends like Open Video Downloader (a.k.a youtube-dl-gui)
Basicly every Pole in the 90s were taught and thought like that
Some supermarkets has calculators built into their carts

Exactly!
I also forgot about the (in)famous AmogOS
I mean Linux wouldn’t be as it is actually without Hannah Montana Linux and Justin Bieber Linux
Two solid years of steady gaming on various Linux distributions.
And in some cases, even better experience than on Windows (f.e. older games compatibility or higher FPS alongside smoother gameplay)
Tbh, about a year ago i checked the price difference between various laptops with Windows preinstalled and without any OS. The difference wasn’t actually a flat amount of money, it was like +10% (price of the laptop 500$ — ~ +50$ for Windows | price of the other laptop 1000$ — ~ 100$ for Windows).
So because of the actual state of gaming on Linux (and overall experience) i wouldn’t pay that 10% to play games with rootkits built-in, but rather spend it on other things
Essentially my parents didn’t explain to me what sex is at all and all the kids comming into this world are brought there by a … stork. That’s why i later on (thanks to schoolmates) thought that it’s a blowjob to learn later on (by reading it up on web) what actually it is.
Anyway, i’m sorry for your trauma
I’m sleeping with socks on for about 10 years now
I started out because my (back then) cat liked to play with my toes using his claws which was painful and disturbing. So i decided to start wearing thick socks to not feel anything like this anymore during sleep time and it worked (tho the cat still played with my toes).
Now i don’t have a cat for several years, but i’m still wearing socks to sleep (not because of the benefit mentioned, but because i’m so used to it)
EDIT: just now i noticed 2 typos
For an average user i would recommend Firefox
For someone tech-savy and privacy focused - LibreWolf
Why? Some websites will not work properly on LibreWolf because of how hardened it is (not extremely, but just enough to break some things on websites). I don’t mean it’s bad, it’s just not for everyone atm since many people want things to just work™
Let me (lemme?) translate this into customer-friendly business language:
Enhanced user experience
You just reminded me of one particular calculator app which put “+” button behind a paywall
After my first comment i digged into the man page of paru and found that another, although temporary, way is to use
