In Quebec French, this has the exact same pronunciation than “Homme Laitte” which means Ugly Man.

They don’t “own” anything. In multiple languages another correct way to name them is the equivalent of Unitedstadian, this is true for French and Spanish.

So far, they are training models extremely efficiently while having US gatekeeping their GPUs and doing everything they can to slow their progress. Any innovation in having efficient models to operate and train is great for accessibility of the technology and to reduce the environment impacts of this (so far) very wasteful tech.

While I have no idea how much a computerized vending machine costs, I found this article about a age/gender classifier that runs on a Raspberry Pi 4.

Looking at the machine’s big touchscreen, I think this classifier would fit on the SBC or require a relatively small upgrade.

My guess is to associate which product is best selling to which demographic to better target them.

I use Zoho with 4 domains that I own. Love their service, price and their blogs about what they are doing and plan to do.

IIRC, it goes against the OG Gun/Linux philosophy of having multiple small tools that interconnect well together. Systemd is seen as monolithic and cumbersome by some/most(?).
