Yeah dude. Tech people have literally told other career paths to study CS since I was in college, for like 15 years now.

I’ve had multiple CS peeps tell me this as I was starting my entertainment career.

This the problem with the more radical leftists on here. They want these massive sweeping changes to happen or nothing at all. And that’s just not going to happen. Change is incremental. So they never get what they want because they never show up to vote.

Haaa fucking fun man. Yeah I agree. People need to believe in things. Super heroes are a lens to show good in the face of adversity. The issue a lot of these projects have had lately is they get away from this. Superheroes don’t need to be dark and gritty. They stand up to dark and gritty.

I’m fortunate enough to train at one of the bigger action production companies all the time, and when you see people that are names recognize you and say hi and shit, that’s cool.

Working as background is tiresome and thankless. You’re a prop that needs food and watered. That being said, it’s a great way to break into the business because you can see how films are made and see which jobs appeal to you.
