Pizzacake is a popular comic artist over on Reddit. She gained popularity mostly because she is extremely active in the comments of all of her posts. She is constantly chatting and attempting to make friends.

As for why she is disliked, there’s a few reasons.

The one she sites the most is sexism though there isn’t actually a lot of evidence of this outside of her own testimony.

Another is that she won’t stop talking about how people who don’t like her are sexist. She’s made multiple comics about how her critics don’t read her comics and just dislike them due to woman.

Her jokes also tend to be the easiest possible punchline for every joke. this has a kinda weird double effect because it means that her comics are extremely applicable to most people because they are generic enough that you can fit most of them into most situations. On the flip side, if you don’t like one the comics… You probably won’t like any of them… They’re all similar enough to be mostly indistinguishable other than the topic itself. along that same train of thought, if you like one… You’ll probably like them all.

As for my own opinion, I don’t really care one way or the other. She’s fine. I’ve heard accusations of her paying for likes on Reddit for promoting her own comics and so on but honestly I haven’t seen any proof myself so I can’t confirm or deny any of those.

I’m not sure how to change the default browser that the Google news feeds opens up to on a pixel phone. Ever since posting this though I’ve been looking at other launchers with a need feed that let me open it in another browser.

Unfortunately it’s based on crypto and is almost entirely right wing propaganda

The default themes (both light and dark mode) are low contrast. I don’t know why anyone would have gray text in light mode but they managed to mess that up.

The new update doesn’t care about people with accessibility concerns. My fiancé can’t use the official app at all because they changed the contrast to make it impossible to read no matter the theme. The best they can do is 3-5 minutes looking at the official app before they get a headache and have to stop using their phone.

This update is actively harming its users with no options to undo it.

One of the biggest downsides is visible. The color changes make the app unusable for some people and my fiancé had to stop entirely because it gave them a headache every time they tried it no matter what theme they used.

I also think the US should be launching less stuff. The difference either way is that the US is putting up functional items with thrusters to help it move around and avoid obstacles while North Korea is putting up junk that will just ram into stuff.

Notably, the US has always been hypocritical, calling them out for that doesn’t actually mean anything anymore. Everyone knows the US sucks already, this time they just happened to suck and be right about how we shouldn’t be letting nonfunctioning hazards be launched into space.

Space junk is pollution, it’s bad for scientists who study space as well as space photographers, and it’s extremely dangerous for astronauts. I don’t know why we wouldn’t object to this.

I also watched this movie and it was… Rough… I could never trash on my boy Brendan though so 10/10 made me decide to watch the mummy again

I’d argue that you have to be horrible already to have loads of money. Any reasonably good person would be using their excess wealth for a good cause rather than building ego rockets.

That sounds about right for a platform based on the block chain.

Unfortunately it’s also a hotspot for right wing conspiracy theories and racism. I tried it for awhile and was completely baffled by what they allowed.

At one point they updated their terms of service to ban racism and it was the most disliked community post they’d ever made.

It’s been like a year tho so maybe it’s better now

Companies don’t need to run servers for old games nobody plays but it is a crime against art and the people who worked on and enjoyed any of that material. All of the wonderful content made specifically for these games is just dead now while the company could’ve just released a way to self host the game. There is NO reason any game ever should die and any excuse otherwise is just feeding into the pockets of companies that want to kill history.

I think so but you do need to set it up with your steam account and connect all that which is a bit of set up. Once you have it up though you can connect all of your launchers to it and then just have everything in one spot. I use it mostly for my GOG, Steam and Game Pass games.

As for steam, have you tried GOG Galaxy at all? I use it as my main launcher and I love it.
