Weird, ours was torch and pitchfork.

Václav Klaus stealing a pen from the Chilean president.

Person from outside the US here. Please explain me why this is a problem?
In the EU only citizens can vote in national elections, for local elections non-citizens can vote only if they are residents.
Wait, it’s been two years already?
It’s not only the hyper masculinity narrative, a lot of times it’s just easier to listen to the programs of your friends and family and try to help them that to speak about your own. People have a lot of shit to deal with, why burdone them even more?

I’m sorry for not giving the exact languages, but one of them is Latin based and the second one is Slavic. He knows the name of things, animals and what sounds they make in both languages, funny enough he even translates for us. He is also starting to get concepts like “soon” or “later” in both languages.
English is tricky because when my wife and I talk it’s generally about abstract concepts like how our day went, what we should cook, gossip and what no. So he can’t really associate the words with something that he can see or touch.

I’m a bit late for this post and early in the parenting world, but here is out experience until now.
We are a mixed EU family with a 2 year old kid, we each speak our native language with the kid and English with each other. It’s a interesting setup, but it works for now.
The child has dual citizenship and we try to visit the other half of the family as much as possible, as well as speak to them via WhatsApp.
He’s to small to understand things like culture and customs, but my wife and I are pretty passionate about these things so I think in time he will catch on to it. We also have tons of books in both languages, so we’re reading him the stories that both parents grew up with.
We can’t control to what nation he will feel closest, but we can show him his roots, family and national history.
Surprised it wasn’t in the toilet at Mar-a-Lago.

We do this with my work colleagues.

Nah man, it’s just that a bunch of us decided that these sea shells are more valuable.
Because of my job I see a lot of factories from the tech industry and most, if not all, are trying to reduce their impact. Some of them are doing it out of virtue, other because at the end of the day it’s cheaper for them to produce and some are doing it because it looks good on paper and attracts investors.
Now, the factories that I work with sell in countries where standards and regulations are tight, so take this with a grain of salt.

I know how crazy this sounds, but hear me out. El Salvador is only a staging location, those people will not be sent back to their home country, the real plan here is for Musk to use them to colonize Mars.
Why do I believe this? Because Musk said several times that in his lifetime he will put 1 million people on Mars, and well, he does own a space company and now has enough backing from the Orange Clown to do anything he wants.
For my non-Romanians, this guy was supporting a Neonazi a few months ago and is a populist asshole.

At this point, why not block all US related imports and exports?

Hard to care about war and climate if you can’t afford rent.

I was in the US once because of a business trip, I was there for 4 days and had 3 interviews with the border police. Not doing that again even if the company is paying for it.
So piracy?
