Mass Effect Andromeda. I absolutely love the game and have played through it multiple times, wishing for DLC. for an expansion of this wonderful universe that I love to explore.

i think its a panic project that was fired up quickly because Starfield failed so miserably.

unless this was just a side project that a few devs were working on and it was latched on to as a product that could be focused on.

i suspect that while todd was failing to put out fires, a couple devs were like “should we tell them we’ve been messing around with Oblivion assets in our new engine?”

its on steam as well if you want to do it that way.

i used to be on that when I was on reddit but I had to leave due to too many instances of me reading about people who actually wanted to harm or kill children.

most collectors do both. we collect the games and keep them in decent condition and then play the roms endlessly because we don’t want to damage the physical copy.

collecting to me just means I love something so much that I wanted to make sure I have it to hold because I love it and have played hundreds of times.

some people do collect for the fun of the hunt or the thrill of owning something special. but many of us collect because we have loved the games for a very long time.

just because I have a new-in-box game under glass doesn’t mean I haven’t poured tons of hours into it.

i’ve seen posts on social media with something like “omg my autism is goin brrrr hahaha.” in relation to something that has nothing to do with being on the spectrum.

“If you like video games, you might be autistic!” and other such nonsense.

makes it rather difficult when people think its “hip” and will attach non-spectrum behavior to autism.

my xbox controller works fine on linux. and I don’t feel the need to stay for xbox exclusive software anymore. this isnt 1998. Software comparable or better than microsoft-made applications and programs are numerous now. you can choose freely. and proton is extremely powerful now.

the world needs to move on from windows and microsoft. its time.
