I believe the original is just PS5 enhanced, similar to running it on a PS4 Pro. But it’s still a PS4 game running on the PS5.
I don’t know the ins and outs. But most games like that have an upgrade that makes them into actual PS5 games (like you can only play it through the SSD for example).
It seems more like a PS5 Upgrade which it never got before. AFAIK you can even upgrade for $10 if you have the original.
It’s not even a puzzle! It’s just waiting!
I’ve been play Theatrhythm Final Bar Line since beating Final Fantasy 16. Next I’m either playing Spider-Man Miles Morales or Stranger of Paradise.
Final Fantasy VIII, Half-Life 2, and Halo 4 were those games for me. Absolutely blew me away.
Yeah, I do love Morrowind. It’s one of my favorite games of all time. But I’m putting Skyrim, FO3, and FONV above Oblivion easily.
checks which game is “best”
This list is 100% accurate.
I don’t think it’s for people planning on buying the disc drive. But it’s a nice way to avoid FOMO for anyone that doesn’t want to get locked out of discs forever (without buying a whole new console).
Plus, for people looking to save some money, it could be an opportunistic purchase if they find it for cheap later.
Hasn’t every other generation come with a price decrease and a bigger size reduction? This seems like it’s really just a new model.
The biggest upgrade is the SSD size. But digital is getting more expensive (but also has the disc drive option). Seems like it’s just not enough upside for anyone to get excited over compared to previous generations.
Infinite made me not care about the franchise. Which is impressive because I loved the franchise.
I had no idea. I think that pretty much explains the confusion then.
Why does it feel like every remake messes with lighting? As if making things brighter means it looks better. Halo CE is another that gets blasted for ruining the anesthetic of the original.
When I was a kid, it wasn’t entirely uncommon to get a big gift during a random holiday get-together.
But I think “holidays” is more of a generic retail term used to get people to buy more and feel less limited.
In the US, there are multiple holidays people get together for. Halloween (to a lesser degree), Thanksgiving, Christmas (or Hanukkah), New Years. Extended families will often get together multiple times for these and then not see each other again until the next year. Thanksgiving really kicks off the retail season with black Friday, but there’s also a lot of time off during the winter time from school and work.
It really is a season with Christmas at the center of it. A lot of our “Christmas” songs don’t even mention Christmas. It’s just songs about winter.
At least for the US, the price increase is just for digital version. And honestly, I’m certain the old digital had a profit margin hit in comparison to the disc drive version. It was probably worth it to lock people out of discs. This version will have a disc drive attachment option, so they’ve just given up on their all-digital endeavor.
Aside from that, $50 for 175 GB SSD isn’t a great value. The extra 175GB SSD is a significant increase. And for the disc version, that’s purely an upgrade.
Most of the extra size is from cooling. So it’s not surprising that someone could make it slimmer by messing with that.
Yeah. Use it at the Bunker and it blows up the Bunker. I love all the endings that are like, “I don’t know why she did that.”
Also apparently it’s a real last ditch move that doesn’t actually kill you. I didn’t know that until just now when I looked it up. I thought it was just an interesting thing where the game let you blow yourself up. Also, it apparently leaves you with tattered clothes.
