ChatGPT and other LLMs allow the manipulation to exist in an unprecedented volume. When you have actual people making posts, there are limits on how fast a person can make them and high costs to hire more people which limit resources. LLMs let you make a script and crank out thousand of posts in minutes, each unique and able to bypass spam filters more easily.

In short, all else being equal, the safest speed to drive is as close to the median speed as you can estimate. The probably of an accident increases with the number of cars that you pass and the number of cars that pass you.
If course it’s not completely cut-and-dry like that, and is more applicable to higher traffic situations, but it’s a good general rule.
I mean, sure, but there was never anything stopping them from doing this in the first place except public pressure. Large companies changing tracks due to public demand is a good thing, and definitely a win.

That does come with the unavoidable side effect that the majority of the people will simply not participate. It then follows that sites like Reddit will continue to be the place where the majority of the people will go.
If your goal is to participate in small communities and you are okay with the slow pace of those communities, then that’s fine. If your goal is to move people away from corporate-sponsored media for whatever reason, then this won’t work.

Eh, maybe? Personally, I wouldn’t consider a love triangle enough to be a harem, and I don’t see that any of the remaining girls see themselves as a love interest, just platonic. “Harem” as a genre is rather vaguely defined, though, so I won’t blame anyone for seeing it as one.
It might be overplayed, but Re:Zero does fit that bill. There is a romance, but only one, and it doesn’t play off the ecchi comedy tropes. It still is based around an oblivious boy, but it’s used as one of his major character flaws, and he has actual character growth.
It had a huge following when it was airing (still kinda does) to the point where it got annoying, but don’t let that color your perspective of the show.
