I think they added an air fryer cook method to the instructions as well. I didn’t want to deal with getting the air fryer out for a freaking hot pocket of all things.

I noticed recently that Hot Pockets at some point in the last ~ 8 years removed the crisping sleeve for cooking them in the microwave (I hadn’t bought them in a long time). They claim that it was done to reduce packaging waste. In reality, they just made the product shittier to save a few cents per unit. Now you have to cook it in the oven for 30 minutes to have it be crispy, or have a rubbery hot pocket if you use the microwave. It was the first time I bought them in ~ 8 years, and I won’t be buying them again.

I had a gen 2. I only got rid of it because I had kids and needed a bit more space. That thing was reliable asf. I did the struts on it once which was a bit of a pain in the ass (you have to disassemble a lot of the interior to get to the top nut) other than that, the only thing I ever did was oil and brakes and had 0 issues. Thankfully I avoided catalytic converter theft which is a huge problem with those in CA. My next car (Lexus Rx hybrid) I wasn’t so lucky.

I’ve said the same thing. More housing will just be bought by more speculators. I also think a massive tax on owning more than 5 properties would be helpful as well. Put the revenue from that into affordable housing subsidies.

I got really out of shape for a while after having kids. Everything was hurting and I barely had time anymore to go to the gym, so I stopped working out. Getting out of shape exacerbated the aches and pains. Eventually I saw some photos of myself on a family vacation and realized how badly I’d let myself go. I started working out again. Took baby steps at first, like walking, body weight exercises, and high rep, low weight exercises. Over time, the aches and pains went away. Got back in a routine and slowly increased my goals. Now I’m in pretty damn good shape. I only do 2 days on and 2 days off for lifting so I don’t hurt myself, and it works for me. I’ve been doing a solid routine for 2 -3 years and I’m feeling a lot better. It was so crazy to see how out of shape I’d gotten. I was an athlete in the past, so it was humbling to see myself struggling doing like 10 body weight squats. Staying in shape is definitely easier than getting back into shape. Don’t do what I did. Stay active.

I’m not much of a runner because of a lingering foot issue, but I agree. Even when I did run, a marathon is far too much. A mile or 2 is all you really need. Anything beyond that is excessive.
