#1. Can’t do 4k 340hz on my display port 1.4 cable. Even though I can on windows and Mac. In Linux the option is there with the nvidia driver, but the screen goes black anytime I try to use it. No solution.

I had a similar issue on my 1080ti, I fixed it by setting Adaptive Sync to Never in my display settings.

What headset? I have my Index mostly working on Nobara, but can’t figure out how to get it to show as an audio device.

Got a 7900xtx a few days ago and worked out of the box. Had to update the drivers after install but that took 5 minutes.

Been perfectly happy with Nobara. Windows is dead to me and I’m free from my League addiction.

I leave btop open to scare norimies away from my Steam Deck at work while looking busy.

The crazy part is games run better and I don’t have to set my region to JP to play… uhhhh… JRPGs. Not to mention I can’t relapse into playing League with That Guy.

I think I’m just use to the movement style and teleporting is a bit jarring and makes me stumble. It takes a good dozen hours to stop getting motion sick in general. Now I can do it drunk.

I had the opposite problem where teleporting makes me dizzy. I only used it as a last resort and can’t survive games that don’t give you the option to not use it.

I just looked up the motor, that’s a bit bigger than a living room coffee table project. I may regret my offer.

I’ll be 100% honest, I don’t know but I like to think I would at least get the motor going for a little bit before it melts and stinks up the house. Just like most things i play around with.

It’s new cool tech until my parents stop being afraid of it. By that time it’s been corrupted by evil.

Ill give you $200 for the battery, the motor, and some chonky relays if you scrape the branding off.
